RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Reservations must be secured by a deposit of 50% of base rate of stay. With at least a two week notice, we will gladly refund your deposit using the same card that the deposit was placed with or move your reservation to another date. Guests may move a reservation only once without loss of deposit if prior to two weeks from time of reservation. The second time will result in losing the deposit.
For cancellations or date changes with less than a two weeks notice, deposit is non–refundable. Guests who fail to show are responsible for the entire stay.
As a first time guest to Black Bear Cabins we guarantee you will be satisfied with your cabin accommodations. If you are not, your deposit will be promptly refunded and the reservation cancelled. Upon arrival at Black Bear Cabins, and before completing the check-in process, you may request an inspection tour of your cabin. If you are satisfied with the accommodations you may then complete the check-in process and take possession of your cabin. The primary purpose of this guarantee is to alleviate certain fears many persons have about renting a cabin they have not seen.
During Your Stay Interiors are non-smoking and no pets are permitted. Cabin parking is limited to registered guests only. Quiet time is 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM. Overnight camping and RV hookups are not permitted. Pets are not permitted. Cabins are for registered guests only. Maximum Capacity is 6 guests per cabin.
1/8th cord of firewood is inlaced with your stay. Additional firewood is available for $35 for 1/8th cord at Gateway Lodge. We do not permit firewood to be brought in from outside sources due to the potential threat of invasive species to Cook Forest. All kitchen amenities provided are to match the maximum occupancy of the cabin. These items are provided as an extra service to our guests. In the event that these items are not cleaned prior to check out, a $25 Housekeeping fee will be assessed to the guest. Bedding is provided for all queen beds plus one set of towels for each guests. A new set of towels may be obtain by bringing up soiled towels to Front Desk to exchange.
Guest will be held accountable for damages incurred to property during their stay and for disruption to other guests' stays due to loud, vulgar behavior. They will also be held accountable for any additional cleaning due to smoking indoors and will be charged an additional fee for violation of our non-smoking policy. Black Bear Cabins reserves the right to ask a guest or party to leave if there has been any misrepresentation in booking or behavior that is disruptive to other patrons. Black Bear Cabins is not liable for any acts of mother nature that may effect a guests' stay.
